What do you DO?

Good question! I ask a lot of questions, I listen to the answers; I give you tools that help you find more answers. Mostly we work together  to access your innate creativity, energize your imagination & intuition, and refresh your life and work with creative solutions. I give you creative tools to engage BOTH sides of your brain in the problem solving process, help you shift perspectives and support you in trying out new ways of being in the world. I encourage you, believe in you, and hold space for you to explore.

How do I know if this is right for me?

My guess is if you’ve gotten this far, it’s right for you on some level – a better question would be “is this the right moment?” It may be if any of these are true:

  • You are longing for change
  • You feel adrift or overwhelmed
  • You know where you want to go, but can’t see how to get there
  • You’ve lost momentum
  • You feel unsupported pursuing your dreams
  • You know for sure what you DON’T want
  • Your heart and head can’t seem to agree on a course of action
You talk a lot about Play, why?

Because when we approach things in a spirit of playfulness, we are more open to alternatives and less rigid in our expectations. Play and imagination are often neglected resources that every person has access to.

Does this really work?

I’ve seen these tools work for a wide variety of people. I think tapping into creativity is an amazing catalyst for change. If it doesn’t work, I’ll give you your money back.

Can you fix my life?

No. First of all, your life is not broken (even tho it may feel that way). Secondly, you are the only one who can change your life. I can support you, offer tools, brainstorm, cheer for you, cry with you, and virtually hold your hand while you make those changes, but you have to do the work yourself.

What is a Certified ARTbundance Coach and Practitioner?

An ARTbundance™ Coach + Practitioner is a hybrid of inspiring coach, creativity teacher, workshop leader, and spiritual guide. My training allows me to assist clients in accessing and using their creativity in powerful ways to catalyze greater awareness, joy, prosperity, and meaning in life.

At the heart of this practice is the use of ARTsignments™, which are unique creative tools that access your imagination and intuition, which allows concepts to sink in on deep, visceral levels bringing forth new layers of understanding and transformation.

What other qualifications do you have?

A lifelong student of art, theatre and cultures, I hold a BA in Communication Arts, with minors in philosophy and psychology. I’m an artist, writer, and have worked as an Artist-in-Residence for the National Endowment for the Arts, the US Veteran’s Administration Hospitals, and the Washington State Arts Commission, as well as locally funded programs in Washington, Colorado and Wisconsin. I’ve worked for NBC, NPR, and numerous regional theatres and dance companies. I’m also a certified EFL instructor, member of Worldwide Story Work, and have lived in 6 US states and 7 other countries.

I’d like to work with you but . . .

Whatever comes after the “but” – write to me, let’s discuss it. Creative solutions ARE my specialty, after all.   creativespirals@gmail.com

What’s with the crazy zebra?

Azalea,  also known as the on-beyond-zebra, is my main muse.

She’s playful and wise by turns, and a reminder to find the joy in all I do.  Her zebra energy speaks to integrating seemingly disparate parts of your self, and creating a beautiful pattern that is uniquely your own.  If she makes you smile, she is doing her job.
