Musing for this week: I talk a lot about Lull and Oasis– time to just let the mind relax, refresh and wander . . . deep midwinter is often a natural time of lull and introspection. With the Spring Equinox just a month away, the question that arises is HOW to keep that peace and calm as we prepare to move into the time of growth and sprouting, when things get noticeably busier?
Your challenge this week is to prepare for the coming Spring Surge of Energy by create a Five-Minute Oasis Ritual that you can do anywhere, anytime, to reconnect with the refreshing feeling of Lull. Get creative! To be effective an Oasis Ritual should be composed of things you LOVE, be easy to do and not require a lot of preparation. It’s only 5 minutes, but it can shift so much!
Azalea’s ritual is going to be to lie in a sunbeam (even if it’s just on the windowsill) for 5 minutes while listening to reggae music.
